The adult electrode pads for the Philips HeartStart OnSite model come in a convenient and easy-to-use cartridge format. Each cartridge contains 1 set of electrode pads and has the Philips "pull handle" built in. Just snap this new electrode pad cartridge into your Philips HeartStart OnSite AED to make it ready-to-rescue.

The Philips Heartstart Onsite AED Defibrillator uses two self-adhesive defibrillation/monitoring pads to monitor ECG signals and, if necessary, to deliver defibrillation energy to the patient. These pads (also known as electrodes) are provided in a single-use, disposable package. 

This Adult SMART pads cartridge for Philips OnSite AED are appropriate for cardiac arrest victims weighing 55 pounds or more.
This cartridge contains 1 set of electrode pads and has the Philips "pull handle" built in. 

It is recommended to always have a spare electrode with your AED in case of a second emergency. Also, it is not uncommon for victims of a SCA to produce large quantities of perspiration, or any other factor that may compromise the effectiveness of the AED electrode.

Minimum Shelf Life: Replace every two years. Expiration date is noted on pads.
