A coccyx cutout cushion that enjoys all the advantages of gel such as cooling, alternating pressure, relief and redistribution. In particular this cushion elevates the coccyx area for zero pressure on the coccyx. Water-based gel lowers interface pressure and cools to minimize perspiration. High-density foam prevents bottoming-out. Low-shear i outer cover reduces skin damaging friction and can be laundered. Vinyl inner cover wipes clean for easy care and prevents urine from entering the cushion.
