The See Luer Cap allows for complete disinfection of the exposed threads. Its design permits full access of the CVC limb threads. The high-risk inside part of the CVC is closed oof, eliminating the risk of getting contaminated.
When the See Luer Cap is not retracted (closed) shown in the picture above. It acts like a typical CVC cap, occluding the threads and inner lumen. This device lowers the risk of infection in an elegant and simple way.
