How to Replace Your Defibtech Lifeline and Lifeline AUTO AED Battery
- Turn the device on the side to reveal the battery compartment and orange button
- Press orange button to extract battery and dispose
- Before inserting your new battery, slide the side compartment to be sure a 9-volt battery is located inside your primary battery
- Pop the new battery back into the AED until you hear it click
- Check to be sure the active status indicator flashes green
