AOSS has recently invested in adding BD Normal Saline IV Fluids to our 90 day safety stock. This will allow us to get product to our customers quicker than ever before. This will also allow us to avoid the issue of back orders. A lot of times companies use the Just In Time (J.I.T.) inventory method so that they can save money by not having to 1. Invest in bulk stock of inventory & 2. Invest in the space, education of staff, and certain quality measures that are required to store specific inventory.
There is more to storing saline safely than you think. All of our saline is stored in our temperature controlled warehouse. Saline is a temperature regulated product meaning the label requirements state that it must be stored between 12-25 degrees C. Anytime that this temperature is not met the product becomes compromised. You can read more on the importance of temperature controlled products by clicking here.
At AOSS we have a customer-centered approach to all aspects of our business. We know that our products touch the lives of patients across the country and that is what drives us to work more efficiently and better serve our customers so they can focus on the lives the touch. This is why it is important to us to maintain our 90 day safety stock and constantly invest in making sure we are handling products correctly.
